As a school, we have pledged to promote a culture of welcome for refugees and people who seek sanctuary in Calderdale. We have become a member of the Calderdale Valley of Sanctuary and we are working towards achieving the School of Sanctuary Award.
Our Rotakids group has been supporting the Calderdale Valley of Sanctuary by creating messages of welcome and hope on Jenga blocks which have then been packed with toys and helpful leaflets for refugee children in the Calderdale community.
